The Programme

Easy – Lowland walking, flat or with gentle hills. Ideal for those with little or no experience of walking or cycling.

Moderate – Hills and dales, generally below 1,500 feet.

Strenuous – High level mountain and moorland over 1,500 feet. May involve steep ascents/descents or scrambling.

The onus is on individuals to arrange their own transport to and from hostel weekends. It is not the responsibility of the booking officer or any other member of the committee to arrange transport.
PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE START FOR EVENTS

23 Sept to 1st Oct It’s the Annual Long Distance Trail This year our eleventh year we reprise the very first one, the St Cuthbert’s Way from Melrose to Lindisfarne. HARD
7th Oct Sat Early Talybont Trial It’s all hands on deck to ensure the smooth running of the challenge walk which raises funds for the Group and Brecon Mountain Rescue team.
14th Oct Sat  12.30 Fox Wood walk with Ian The first one to spot Basil Brush is the winner. MODERATE
20th to 22nd Oct Bridges Hostel Weekend We’ve a good mind to walk the Mynd on this weekend.  HARD
