The Programme

Easy – Lowland walking, flat or with gentle hills. Ideal for those with little or no experience of walking or cycling.

Moderate – Hills and dales, generally below 1,500 feet.

Strenuous – High level mountain and moorland over 1,500 feet. May involve steep ascents/descents or scrambling.

The onus is on individuals to arrange their own transport to and from hostel weekends. It is not the responsibility of the booking officer or any other member of the committee to arrange transport.
PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE START FOR EVENTS

Mynydd y Lan and the Sirhowy Valley.
Ivor’s 8 mile walk takes us up above the Western and Sirhowy Valleys. Scenic views as far as the Bristol Channel.

The Skirrid – a Sunday Lunch Walk.

Chris N gets our appetite going … up and down the Skirrid. 4 miles, then it’s exercise for the jaw muscles.
