The Programme

Easy – Lowland walking, flat or with gentle hills. Ideal for those with little or no experience of walking or cycling.

Moderate – Hills and dales, generally below 1,500 feet.

Strenuous – High level mountain and moorland over 1,500 feet. May involve steep ascents/descents or scrambling.

The onus is on individuals to arrange their own transport to and from hostel weekends. It is not the responsibility of the booking officer or any other member of the committee to arrange transport.

24th June 19.00 Mynydd Machen Walk Nigel leads us tonight along the Sirhowy Valley walk to enjoy well earned views over the Bistol Channel. MODERATE
1st July 19.00 Cwm Lickey Walk Alan is our guide tonight as we visit the area above Race. But don’t worry we won’t race. MODERATE
8th July 19.00 The Bay from Penarth Norman leads us from Penarth to the barrage where we may have a stop in one of the bars.
