A – Yes, prospective members are very welcome to come on up to 3 events before joining the group, but if you wish to go on a weekend away, you must pay an extra £2.50 surcharge per night, per person.
A – Yes, we have Public Liability Insurance only, please talk with Norman Roberts.

A – For Monday evening indoor events, please meet at the Ridgeway Community Centre, Ridgeway, Newport NP20 5DF
For all outdoor events, please meet at the start of the walk at the location described by the walk leader/organiser.
To share transport, please phone or email the leader/organiser of the walk to find out who else may be going.
A –Yes. A small number of maps are available to borrow. Please contact Trudy Porter. You must be a paid up member of the group before you can borrow any maps. The borrower is responsible for returning the map to the keeper in the same condition as it was hired out. Leaders/Organisers will of course take priority.
A – Dogs are welcome on NOG walks but the owner of the dog most comply with the Countryside Code.
A – Yes, the main point of contact is either the Chairperson or Secretary. Details can be found on the committee page.
A – Yes, you join the NOGs for a year.
A – No, your membership is only valid with the NOGs.
